This Development board serves as an RS485 bridge between an RS485-capable device and the home network and IoT software solutions such as Home Assistant. Any application in which RS485 IoT is to be made capable can be easily implemented here.
This board was originally developed to be used via OpenSource Software to control a Hörmann garage door drive, this is still the most frequently used application. As a result, the board is optimized for this and is delivered with a current version of the software, in this case the drive will power the board as well. Reprogramming is possible at any time without any problems so that any RS485-related projects can be realized.
When using the board to control a Hörmann garage door, the pre-installed firmware supports the following models:
Series 4: SupraMatic E/P/H 4, ProMatic 4, Duramatic, Liftronic 500-2, Liftronic 700-2, Liftronic 800-2, RollMatic 2
Series 3: SupraMatic 3, SupraMatic HT3, LineaMatic, LineaMatic 2, RotaMatic, RotaMatic 2, VersaMatic, Portronic-2 S4000, Portronic-2 D5000
Important: Berner motors and the Hörmann Promatic 3 are NOT useable with this board!
Info: For motors that cannot operate a garage door, only basic functions such as open/close can be guaranteed.
Using it with such a garage door supports Plug & Play, installation only takes a few minutes!

Es funktioniert wie erwartet
Die Lieferung war recht schnell. Das Board passt gut in Hörmann SupraMatic E4. Überhaupt keine Beschwerden!
